What is a green screen?

A green screen is a screen background where you can edit it around, change it the way you want onto Adobe Premiere. You use a variety of tools for it. Before you do it, it seems hard because you haven't got a clue what to do but when you get taught how to do it then it is easy to use.You can get a different colour screen like green, blue, black and white colours. The one we used was green.

What were you asked to make?

We were asked to make a  45-30 sec film in the green screening room and we went through the process we could use for our project. I worked in a group of 5 in my video work.I'd say we worked really well in a team, it probably because we knew each other well. Each of us was told to bring an objected  for  how green screen project what was fun because I could  bring what I wanted to bring into  college, I brought my manga books, wig, sunglasses  but we only needed to bring the  manga books ,but I'm glad I brought other to things to college incased we needed them.I then edited the video into Adobe premiere CC what took me nearly  4 weeks  as I lost one of my videos  which were annoying ,but I created a new video what looked better than my previous video.I  put some stages onto my blog to show  how I did it and  how I converted the  music into my  video. After having  my videos edited, I then picked  3  music theme for my green screen video. I remix my music into one song but separated them into 3 bars (in Premiere).I stop one in the middle because have little break and then I added back into the video

what tools did I use ?

I use a software called Abobe Premiere CC what is editing software for videO.It kind of like Photoshop but different tools and a different and different type of file .I have used a different file .I have used the key tool and the Ultra  Key,  what removes the background by using the  pen drop tool . I then go into the output to  remove the shadow because  as I don't want it to show on my video when I don't want it to show on my youtube. I clicked on composite  as it fit with my green screen  but It only does it on the certain video .I then went into setting and click on setting and aggressive  to remove the outline of the characters. Before that, I edit the videos  down  to 30-45 sec, I  then used the  lock tool what is on the timeline in the software to put all the video together so I can  export and be ready to edit for my next video.I put the  gif, video, text and sound on the  bottom timeline   I then went into Adobe  Audition  what is differenet software to do my soundtrack what was a load of fun by using  the  Effect rack to change my sound around like the  echo what makes it really deep sound .

what did I like about this project ?

I like working with new people in the group because I can get to know new people more .I like using green screen room because I got the chance to try something new out  I enjoy the editing more as I choose which  picture, video or Gif (a lossless format for image files that supports both animated and static images.) to use for my green screen .I had fun trying new software out like Abobe Audition and some in primiere.I have watched  people using  the software,so  it was kind of easy using the software .

what could be improved in your green screen?

I say we could do a better storyline because it made more interesting on my video .use some picture in the video because it makes it simple. I think should  be organised a bit more as well because it was a bit of a mess on the video. everything e;she is okay.

What SFX DID YOU use ?
I have used youtube for my video and music what was an easy site to get these thinks .I then used the Convert 2MP3   what was easy to use but the advert keeps popping up what kind be really annoying with my work as would slow my progress down .It did download them into good quilty videos . I then went into gimpy what had the good gifs and very easy to use as I only after right click and save as in my files.

How did you alter sound level in adobe Premiere ?
I didn't use premiere as I used Audition Abobe for the sound ,but on my last sound, I did use Abobe premiere as I wanted to do it quickly so I can get this subject was done and out the way.
